What's spreading in the market

Procedures Medicare recently started paying for, ranked by how many more physicians billed each one than the year before.

26 procedures · CY2024 Medicare fee-for-service Part B

The list is open; the earliest billers of each procedure are part of the platform.

Every procedure here is CPT®-coded — shown with a trial or subscription, under AMA licensing.

Newly-introduced procedures only: CPT Category III codes plus individually reviewed new Category I codes — a new code number that renames an established procedure is excluded, and a procedure whose code has been retired is not listed. Counts are physicians with disclosed Medicare Part B billing; CMS suppresses a physician's figures on a code when it served fewer than 11 beneficiaries, so thinly-billed procedures are undercounted. The 11-physician cut between the lists above is Nevvi's own display threshold, not a CMS rule. Medicare fee-for-service only. Billing-timing facts — not a measure of quality, outcomes, or patient need. Nevvi is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, CMS or HHS.
