Terms of Service
Effective 2026-07-05 · Nevvi is a product of TinyFlux Studio ("Nevvi," "we," "us"). Plain language on purpose. By using nevvi.app you agree to what's below.
1. The service
Nevvi is a lookup and analytics tool that presents public Medicare data — which physician groups perform which procedures, their submitted charges, volume trends, affiliations, and contact information. Some features are free; some require a paid subscription. We may change, add, or remove features over time.
2. The data is provided "as is"
The information on Nevvi comes from public releases by CMS and other government sources. We compile and present it in good faith, but we do not warrant that it is accurate, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose. It carries the inherent limits of its origin — Medicare fee-for-service only, suppression of small counts, submitted charges rather than payments, and a lag between service year and release. Those limits are described on our Methods & Sources page, which forms part of these terms. Use it accordingly.
3. Not professional advice
Nevvi is an information tool, not advice. Nothing here is medical, legal, financial, investment, or purchasing advice, and nothing here should be relied on as the sole basis for a clinical, business, or investment decision. You are responsible for your own conclusions and for verifying anything material against primary sources.
4. Acceptable use
You may use Nevvi for your own lawful business and research purposes. You may not:
- scrape, crawl, bulk-download, or systematically extract the site, or resell, redistribute, or sublicense its content as a dataset or a competing service;
- circumvent, disable, or interfere with the paywall, rate limits, authentication, or any security or access control;
- reverse-engineer, copy, or attempt to reconstruct our compilation, code taxonomy, or how the product is built;
- use provider names or contact details to harass, spam, or mislead, or in any way that violates law or a third party's rights;
- misrepresent Nevvi's data or imply that Nevvi, CMS, or HHS endorses you or your use.
Reasonable, human-scale use of the free search is welcome. Automated or high-volume access requires our written permission.
5. Intellectual property
The underlying government data is public and remains CMS's. Everything Nevvi adds — the compilation, the entity resolution, the code taxonomy, the rankings, the written material, and the design and presentation of the site — is the property of TinyFlux Studio and protected by intellectual property law. Your use grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view and use the site for the purposes above, and nothing more.
6. Accounts, subscriptions & billing
Paid access is sold as described on our pricing page, including any subscription term and commitment stated there. Payments are processed by Stripe; your card details go to Stripe directly and never touch our servers. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. Fees are billed as described at checkout and, except where the law or the offer says otherwise, are non-refundable.
7. No warranty
Nevvi is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TinyFlux Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, revenue, data, or business, arising out of or relating to your use of Nevvi — even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or US$100.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TinyFlux Studio from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of Nevvi or your breach of these terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product grows. When we make a material change, the effective date above changes with it; continued use after that means you accept the update.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
